Parents of a young boy who sustained critical wounds after getting pushed from the top floor of London's Tate Modern have stated their "brave warrior" has achieved his goal of succeeding to swim, run, and jump again.

The young child was six years old when he was hurled from a ledge by a teenager, at that time 17 years old.

The child, who was traveling with the family in August 2019 when assaulted, lived through a 30-meter plunge but received significant injuries, like a brain hemorrhage and shattered bones.

His family shared in an update on a crowdfunding page, they were delighted that he had been able to advance with his jumping, swimming and running before his forthcoming surgery.

"He doesn't do it like kids his age, naturally, but we cannot explain his movements in different terms than by terming it's running, jumping, and swimming."

"It varies, merely across a short distance or a low level, but it's an amazing accomplishment."

He, who passed many months in intensive care, has kept to gain cognitive endurance.

Parents explained although his memory skills were still quite restricted, they were effective and improving, so he was "acquiring a basic understanding at his rate, which increasingly enables him to be involved with kids."

'Mission Accomplished'

The family continued: "He's also developing, and due to his work with the psychomotor therapist, he now enables himself to rest."

"Previously, to compensate for his disability on the left-hand side, he held his right side continuously stiff, which resulted in discomfort."

"Today, our youngster (we have to face the facts, he's not a little boy now) has understood that he needs to give himself pauses; we must tell him less often."

He also accomplished a long-held objective with his father: "Because we dwell a couple of miles from the ocean, they had set their end target of enjoying a al fresco lunch at the beach and then coming back."

"Subsequent to several gradual training sessions, they ultimately finished their two-and-a-half-hour journey. They returned tired but thrilled. Mission accomplished."

Following a trial at the central criminal court, the teenager was sentenced of murder attempt and was imprisoned in 2020 for no less than fifteen years.
