I'll dominate 'legitimate combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex two time unified boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
However, the novice remains one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.

The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
