In a bizarre collaboration that breaks usual expectations, the game developer has unveiled an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Uncovered

According to the formal announcement, "An unusual confrontation draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where hints of banned practices and terrifying changes resonate through the darkness." The storyline introduces a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a hidden sect.

The mission centers on "peculiar tests and a terrifying adversary" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Locations and Changes

The trailer features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the captive, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Additional Features

Players who successfully complete the quest will acquire an exclusive katana together with numerous artifacts concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
